my story and approach

Thank you for stopping by. Whether you're here out of curiosity, or because something in your life feels tangled and you haven't told anyone, I'm glad to see you on this page.
Let me start with where I come from, because it shaped everything I do.
I grew up in the Soviet Union during the Cold War, and later through years of enormous change. It wasn't easy. At 10 years old, I was already dreaming of America, a place that felt impossibly far from where I was. Back then, it was hard to even imagine that I might one day get there. I held on to that dream.
I studied hard. I'm a Linguist and Teacher by training, with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in foreign Languages, Communication and Education from Volgograd State University. Learning other languages taught me to listen for meaning, not just words.
In 1998, the dream became real. I was invited to work in the United States, and I arrived in New York with one suitcase, $600 in my pocket:) and a great deal of hope, ready to start as a paralegal at John Roth Immigration Law Firm. I was a newcomer helping other newcomers find their way through a legal system that can feel impossibly complicated from the outside. Using my background in languages, I translated documents, handled sensitive paperwork, coordinated client calls and turned complicated requirements into clear steps. Precision, discretion and trust were everything. I learned how heavy personal decisions feel when they're made under pressure, and how much people need someone steady beside them.
In the early 2000s, I moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked at the National Security Caucus Foundation. I organized high-level meetings that brought foreign political and business leaders together with U.S. senators and congressmen. The work called for emotional intelligence, calm composure and care with delicate human dynamics.
During those years, I noticed something consistent. Even the most accomplished, composed people often carried a quiet vulnerability inside. From the outside, they looked certain and strong. Many wanted a safe place to open up about what was really wearing them down personally, without judgment, evaluation or exposure. That kind of support was clearly needed and was't easy to find.
In those same years, I met Andrea Amani, a Leadership and Executive coach in D.C., and the meeting changed my life. She introduced me to the world of coaching.
So in 2001, I opened a private coaching practice, working One-on-One with people whose personal situations had become tangled and complex. It began as a part-time passion and I cared about it a lot. I kept it small, personal practice, guiding only a few people at a time, with discretion at the center. Depth and trust matter more to me than scale or visibility, and this approach protects the undivided focus that people in roles of significant responsibility deserve.
In 2005, I moved to Silicon Valley. I got involved in real estate, and later in holistic health and wellness. Both taught me something I now bring to every conversation: big decisions are built on trust, and no one performs well when they're running on empty. In time, I came back to coaching, and today I work as a consultant, personal advisor, coach and educator.
I've traveled to more than 30 countries and said 'yes' to every strange dish, so my stomach is now a "certified diplomat" :) And the list of countries keeps growing. Travel also taught me to try things before deciding I won't like them, which turns out to be good advice for life, too. Each country has taught me that strength and vulnerability look different from one culture to the next, yet feel the same in every human heart.
My rule is simple: work deeply, live fully, speak selectively. It echoes an idea often attributed to Albert Einstein, who joked that "success is built not only on hard work and play, but on knowing when to keep quiet". Success isn't amplified by louder effort or greater visibility. It's refined through balance, renewal and the quiet power of restraint.
Strong people need a safe place too. With me, you don't have to wear the mask. When you're ready, let's start with a private conversation.
my approach
Trust. Understanding. Refinement. Results.
Over time, I developed a proprietary The T.U.R.R. Method for restoring identity and inner alignment in high-responsibility lives. It is designed for people who are used to carrying a lot.
• Trust:
Discretion and psychological safety from the first conversation. You don’t have to manage my reactions, protect your image or translate yourself into something acceptable. Nothing performs here. What you say stays here, so you can finally think out loud without consequences.
• Understanding:
A precise read of what’s actually happening beneath the surface: the pattern, the pressure points and the gap between public competence and private reality. No guesswork. No quick labels. We clarify what’s driving your choices, control habits, silence or restlessness - so you’re not fighting symptoms.
• Refinement:
Targeted adjustments in identity, behavior and relational dynamics. This is where small shifts create outsized impact: how you hold authority, handle uncertainty, set boundaries without hardening and respond instead of react. The goal isn’t a new personality - it’s a truer version of you, with less internal drag.
• Results:
MeasurableM change you can feel and see: calmer mind, cleaner decisions, steadier presence, stronger boundaries, and relationships that feel less effortful. You move with more clarity, less noise, and a sense of inner alignment that doesn’t depend on performance.
